HAPPY 51st BIRTHDAY TO BRIAN!

In loving memory of Brian, please consider contributing to the "Make It Do" scholarship. The suggested donation is $51, symbolic of Brian's 51st birthday. However, any amount is greatly appreciated. Your support will provide life-changing opportunities for young artists and carry forward Brian's legacy.

Brian’s 51st birthday, August 1, 2024, has been designated for social media fundraising drives. Along with your donation, we encourage you to share your favorite photo of Brian and a cherished memory (keep it family friendly, please) on Facebook or Instagram. Use the hashtag #MakeItDoBrianHillTurns51. Together we can create a beautiful collection of memories to celebrate Brian's life. You can also email them to us here at MakeItDo.org through the contact link at the top and we’ll post them here on the site!

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Thank you for being a part of this journey to empower LGBTQIA+ youth and honor Brian Hill's legacy. Your contributions and heartfelt shares will ensure that the "Make It Do" scholarship becomes a beacon of hope for aspiring young artists.

THE “MAKE IT DO” SCHOLARSHIP

The "Make It Do" scholarship is managed through Appel Farm Arts in Elmer, NJ, an esteemed institution founded in 1960 with a commitment to radical inclusivity, gender affirmation, anti-racism, and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth. Appel Farm Arts provides a transformative sleepover camp experience where young artists explore everything from theatre and music to writing and visual arts. As a tribute to Brian's passion for all things creative, we aim to empower LGBTQIA+ youth through this scholarship.

OUR GOAL IN 2024

Last year we were able to raise just over $5000 which enabled us to send two kids to summer camp! This year, we’d love to send two more, and we’ll need your help to do it. Brian’s 50th had over 65 donors - what if we could double that this year? If we all ask just one person in our life to donate as well, we could easily hit our goal!
